Did you install the clamps using an impact. I had leaks and even had one of the slip ons get so loose you could slide it back and forth by hand. I put an impact on it using 80 lbs of air and it snugged it down tight and have yet to have a problem.

Seems like JB is the answer to everything recently! There is a product out there called Mill Pack (its used in fireplace venting) and does not harden (stays plyable) and is rated up to 1000 degree's. You might want to try a little of this and see if that helps. Can't hurt any, just take a little more time. Make sure you only use Mill Pack (dark grey in color, comes in a white caulk tube though) Others will harden and won't remain plyable. Don't let them sell you anything different.

the real fix is to go to a hydralic hose store and buy two T-BOLT CLAMPS...the hd ones suck....use some copperseal gasket maker on the end of the pipe and install the t-bolt clamp right out on the end of the slip on...sorry bout the jb answer

Hi temp sealent from an auto part store. Copper or red color. Use very liberally and after you run it for awhile, come back with a razor blade to clean any excess.

Buy the expensive stuff and goop it on.
