A few years ago I had my bike cammed and added a Power Commander 5. I was never really convinced the tune was right because I neve felt much of a difference before and after. (I should have felt a decent gain with those cams)
I contacted DynoJet and they tell me they dont have a pre-canned setup for my bike and the best they can offer to to call me and help me tune it manually. (Dont get me wrong, they have been very responsive so far and answered all my questions, I was just hoping to get a tune thats closer than what Im running. ) The dyno rep told me my current tune is just barely better than stock.
Bike s a 2005 Electra Glide, SE Air Cleaner, SE slip on pipes and Andrews 21 cam.
The bike has no oxygen bungs or O2 sensor that Im aware of so I cant run an auto tune, and Id rather try and get close myself rathe than take it to one of the very few dyno's in the area.
Im very new to electronic programming, so please bear with me if any of this sounds off kilter. Im hoping someone out there may be running the same setup as I am or knows how a very close map and could walk me thru it. It also doesnt help that its the dead of winter and I wont be able to test ride for another 2-3 months!
Doesn't sound off-kilter at all and I can absolutley relate.
Wish I could be more helpful - and I am suprised they even offered the call. I would take them up on that and see where that leads.
That said, I have called DynoJet and was also surprised they couldn't help with a map for my Rinehart Xtreme TrueDuals / 4" Slip-Ons and the SE Ventilator. I thought the guy was going to yawn as I was trying to engage him with other possibilities from the maps they have available.
In other words, I think they are a joke!! I would only consider replacing the PC5 with a PowerVision from FuelMoto becuase I understand FM will at least provide decent maps.
I hope you get it all sorted. Perhaps I would at least have one example of DynoJet actually coming through for one of their customers.

I agree with the response, time to upgrade to a Power Vision. Power Commanders work ok, but there is so much better technology now. Because of their limitations they arent that great of a tuner and the PV is a major tuning capability upgrade.
The PV will give you many options, and you can always add O2 sensors to run auto tuning if you dont want to take your bike and have it dyno tuned which is what you really need. FuelMoto, if anyone, may have a map for it. If they dont then you will need a dyno tuner to really dial it in right.
You should have really picked up a seat of the pants feel with a cam upgrade, so you may be on the right track with the dyno.
Exhaust is important too. In my early days of doing my own Stage 2 projects I disregarded the effect of a good exhaust system. Turns out you can kill the benefit of a cam with a crappy exhaust. @fuelmoto can give you good advice on exhaust systems that match your build and tuner.
Well that really sucks. This was my first big twin and I ran into substantial problems finding a right cam and piggyback tuner. The Andrews 21 cams were very popular 'back in my day' (when I worked for the MoCo around 2001) and I cannot believe DynoJet doesnt have a map for this setup. I think at this point my only choice is to pay to get it dynotuned. Im hoping the local shop will at least cut me a deal and trailer it to and from the shop at a discount. I cant drive anywhere until spring and our riding seasons are so short here that shops are swamped in the spring and summer. Really sucks to pay 400 bucks for a tuner and another 400 for a dyno run, for a product Im sure at least a million other people have run before.
