G'day everybody I own a MY20 Road King Special , I bought Hogworks LED inserts .. in the manual it says there is a slot in the bottom of tail lens to put screw driver or coin into to open lens . But my Australia model does not have this on the rear lens
only on the front lenses ... Has anyone got any idea how to remove the lens ?? Thank you
Those are factory sealed LED turn signals. The lenses are permanently affixed with an adhesive.
WOW........ I did not know that! So if in 3 years or so, one of the LED boards in that tail light fails, you have to purchase a whole new tail/turn light assy? Well that sucks..........

According to the service manual, you are correct.
And it would really suck if all you have is a broken lens.
