hey guys i spotted this plate mount on this youtube video. my bike has the same kind of mount. the one with no screws in the fender. it mounts behind the license plate light.
i cant seem to find one anywhere. theyre all the 3 bolt mounts. heres a link to the video to help show what im looking for. THANKS IN ADVANCE
you can just see the plate frame has no mounts in the back. im sure this is a easy enough thing to point out for you veteran guys but i cant seem to find one anywhere
If you pause the first video at the 2:47 mark....is that the plate mount you are looking for? It mounts between the fender and tail light assembly and is held in place when you reinstall the tail light base. It is an original part included with the tourpak quick detach kit. It can be ordered separately by your dealer as a service part for the kit. Available in black or chrome.
yes that's exactly what I'm looking for but I want one slanted back like that. the only one I've seen is straight up and down

Most people just bend it over to the desired angle. It's just stamped steel very easy to bend. I'm sure someone will chime in soon with one for sale as most don't like them. I have used these on 2 different bikes and like them for simplicity and the tail light lense lights the license plate without swapping out the stock lens.
