Default Dash blanks

I have a 2014 Street glide. I want to add a switch for fog lights. I pulled the dash to remove one of the switch blanks and noticed that there are wires connected to the middle blanks. What are they for?? There is no switches?!?!

Its pre wired you just need the button.
It turns on a 2 amp circuit in the plug under the left side cover.

At least that was how my Ultra was, it has the light button already but the 2 next to it just had a blank over it.

Yep; when I added passing lamps to my Street Glide, the wiring was already there. Just replace the blank with the proper switch.

Cool. I looked several places and I have not been able to find the switches. Even the local dealer didn't have them. Where did you find yours??

Found a switch at a local Dealer. $135.00 WTF?!?!?!? Think I'm going to put in a toggle switch. If I tap into a line that is hot when the ignition is on, will that mess with the ECM???

I'm not surprised your dealer didn't know. They didn't know they could turn on the TMPS in my BOOM 6.5 until I explained to them how. The switches are are expensive but are a part in the catalogue. I'm curious to see if you find a cheaper way.

if its all blanks now, there is no switch pack. You have to buy the switch pack and switches which will come with an extra harness. It the bike already had aux lights from the factory,IE electra glide , then yes the switch pack is already there The plug that is there now is just attached to a blank plug holder. street glides didn't come with aux lights normally.

Check out this other thread in the Rushmore section at https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...-switches.html
I "stole" this pic from post # 3. Might want to try these part numbers...
