Default Legend Revo-A shocks

A friend bought a used 2012 Ultra last year and he needed to lower it so he could get his feet flat on the ground. He bought some 12" Burly Slammer shocks and at every pavement seam on the interstate it would go ka-thunk, ka-thunk, ka-thunk. He needs better shocks, but he's not rich. I know where he can get some new 12" Legend Revo-A shocks for under $600. Anybody use these or know anything about them? THANKS

I installed 12” Legend Revo shocks on my wife’s 2006 Ultra. She loves them and when I taking for a spin, so do I. We had 12” Progressive shocks on it. They were terrible. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

The Revo shocks, new, for the price under $600 is a huge bargain, and will treat your buddy very well, OR, Have your buddy contact forum sponsor DK Customs - and have him order a set of brand new Bitubo Twin Adjustable shocks setup to his specifications - and ask for the forum member discount - their public price is $550 for the set…..Either way, he will be much happier with his ride

I run 12" Legend Revo's on my 2016 RGS.....they work great. I think you'll like them.
I bought my shocks from Parts Giant. They are a sponsor here and gave me the best price I could find.

If he hasn't done so yet, he can get the seat lowered as well to shave another 1 1/2 - 2 inches.

I don't think having a thin hard seat would make the ride any better, but thanks for your reply.

I had Mean City lower and narrow my seat, and it’s actually much more comfortable than stock….
