My vote goes to Rinehart. They are not crazy loud but loud enough. KW I think are louder.

westendmotorsports YouTube page has everything in the game to listen to, the majority of his videos the bike does have an aftermarket cam so have to take that into consideration but can still get somewhat of an idea on tone etc. I have spent a ton on slip ons chasing sound and out of the 9 or so sets I’ve ran for depth my favorite is Khrome Werks (my current full system) or Magnaflow, MK45’s are also pretty deep without the inserts in. The loudest, raspiest I ran was Tab with zombie baffle. The quietest was street cannons (my personal least favorite of what I’ve ran)

The above and with a stock head pipe and no cam, no decat, they will all sound reasonably close. Personal preference IMHO.

I have a 21 road Glide Special with the 114. I went with the Rinehart DBX 4 in. They are louder than stock but not to loud. Just a nice rumble.

Is there any performance loss with these slip ons?

@Ct Mike, Go check out youtube and find videos of various pipes you're interested in. The best way to get a truer sound when watching videos is to listen to with headphones or earbuds. Because your buying a new bike better check with dealer first to see if slip-ons are gonna mess with factory warranty at all. Some are funny about that. Hope our crap weather up here doesn't prevent the pick-up today. Good luck.

Slip ons will NOT void your warranty. Secondly, for “real world” sound go to a local dealer on a Saturday and hang out and check out customers bikes much more accurate than YouTube but YouTube will give you a running start.

Thanks,

I actually took the day off and picked it up yesterday because of today’s lousy weather.
