Let your budget be your guide, as there are a ton of options.
Are you planning to stick w/ the factory head unit?
If so, then you need to pick a pair with 2 Ohm impedance or the effective volume will drop accordingly (4 Ohm speakers would reduce the output by half, 8 Ohm speakers would effectively reduce it by 75%).
Adding an amplifier (or an alternate head unit) can help overcome this issue, but like many things H-D, they did this on purpose.
