Are the Harley brand tall boy handlebars suitable for internal wiring? If so, do you use the existing wires, and remove/replace the connectors to get them through the holes? I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that the wires, clutch and brake items are long enough when using the tall boy wires.
Yes, you can wire tallboy internally. I did tallboy installation on my 2017 and both hydraulic lines were fit although had to reroute a bit the clutch line. Not sure about cable clutch - it might be a tighter fit and you will need to replace the cable upper with longer one. Switch cable connector sockets are easy to pull out - you'll need something like very thin screwdriver to pry lock and pull the wire out. And you will need also reroute switch wires a bit under the fairing. From the right side you first pull out the throttle sensor and then pull it back together with swtich wires. A bit of WD-40 helps.
PS Finally i ended up with replace that tallboy bar with Khrome Werks 300200 as it much better corresponds with term "10-inch handlebar for tall guy" and also fit to stock lines. Then later i did another replacement with 12" mini-ape (where i has to put +2" lines and cable extenders) and now i'm happy enough with it - have comfort and my hands still not so high above batwing as with 14". I'm 6'4" tall.
