Default Road Glide Bars

I bought a set of bars for a 2017 road glide. Due to some circumstances I had to get rid of that bike before I put the bars on. I will be getting a 2012 Road glide on Tuesday and am wondering if the bars will work on that year?

thanks in advance

Glen

Look up the part number on the manufacturers site and see if they're compatible.

unfortunately I don’t have the Part number unless it’s actually on the bars.

Most likely they will fit. Most bars will work on 2015 and newer Road Glides. There are a few exceptions to this. Do you know the brand of the bars?

The factory center bar clamp on the 2015+ is 1.25 inch. The factory clamp for 2013 and below is 1 inch. Clamps are exchangeable though. I believe you can use OEM clamps or aftermarket. Have to look around.

For the record, I'm running a 2013 clamp on my 2017 so I could use 1 inch bars...

Also: Need to figure out of the bars were made to use the purposely built Road Glide hand lever clamps. They are wider than the normal clamps.
