Hello, I have a 2012 RG Ultra. I bought this bike a couple months ago and it has some problems. Not major just need some help with this. The bike sat for 5 years with no running or riding. The bike has 5k miles on it. The idle seems rough to me and sometimes the power cuts out like it is starved for fuel. The codes that I am getting are P0131, P0132, P0151, P0152, P1353. P1353 seems to be intermittent. The rest seem to be constant. I have run fuel and injector cleaner through the bike and replaced the front and rear O2 sensors. Still having the problem and codes. Any suggestions would be helpful.
There should be a guide to the DTCs in the electrical section. Without looking up your codes, I would strongly suggest replacing the fuel filter AND the filter "sock" on the bottom of the fuel pump. 5 year old gas can be bad news, especially if it was E10. My buddy was given a BMW that sat for about that long and everything inside the fuel tank had to be replaced, it was all corroded and destroyed. A close look at the fuel pump would be smart while you are replacing the filters. If the machine was stored with an empty tank, any deposits on those same filters, when the tank was drained, are probably caked on solid now and still restriciting fuel flow.
The last time I had an intermittent P1353 "no combustion" code, it was due to a bad spark plug wire... If it sat for 5 years, new plugs & wires can't hurt...
If you are getting the same O2 sensor codes, after replacing the O2 sensors, check your battery & grounds... low voltage and/or bad grounds can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins and weird codes... Plus, not knowing where it was stored, inspect the O2 injector wiring/connectors for possible issues from rodents or corrosion...
