Default Best Bedroll speaker for Road King??

Hello all,
Just wondering what some of you did for sound on your Road Kings. I have a 2013 Road King Classic and am in desperate need of some music. I was looking at the Kuryakyn Sound Bar which I've seen in person and is wicked loud (300w I believe). I would like to see if anyone knows of a bed roll speaker that produces the same if not better sound. Thanks.

I don't have one, but I've heard some bedroll speakers that sounded great at a stop. (Until someone with a SG or RG with a custom system shows up) I'm sure there will be other responses about great sound systems and personal preferences, but personally I prefer in-ear speakers for a few reasons...assuming they're legal to ride with in your state: I ride without a windshield on my RK, so ear protection from the wind is necessary for me anyway. I also don't care to "share" my tunes with the world as I putt down the road, and I find many that do to be as obnoxious as hell (depending on the tune, of course). In my opinion, the sound quality of in-ear speakers (not earbuds, but triple flange in-your-ear speakers like Etymotic) to be far superior to ANY sound system on a scooter. Sure, you can convert your bag lids and add amps, woofers, etc, but still not gonna sound like good headphones when on the road. I know that some folks don't like wearing earplugs or earpieces, so to each their own... Just my 2 cents...

My advice - as I did on my RK - stream your music of choice from your phone to your helmet Bluetooth.

No external speakers, and a quality helmet Bluetooth setup will serve you well

As mentioned I use an in-ear earplug for my audio.

I'm not familiar with the Kury sound bar, but I think the one I have seen was way less in power. A descent bedroll audio is by Brass Knuckles Customs. They need some subs to be good. But the best audio for a King would be the crashbar speaker pods with subs in the bags with whatever kind of wattage you want, like Rockford Fosgate amps. I use to live in SoCal and that's all I'd see on those cholo-style bikes. Here's a place as an example.
