Default Road Glide Front End

Good day all.

I have a question. I had an accident with my Road Glide a while back and snapped both front ends off. I am now looking to rebuild the bike and the question I have is can either an Electra Glide or Street Glide front forks fit? I have asked a number of dealers and no one can give me an answer. The reason for me asking is because finding a set of Road Glide forks is harder then finding a pink chicken that flyes and has teeth. Yet I can find a lot Electra Glide and Street Glide front ends?

Pl

Go here and compare fork part numbers with your bike and other same year models.

@GalvTexGuy is spot on! should be able to cross reference part numbers from one model to the next, I find it amazing the dealership can't help out. Curious, what year is the bike? that should be included anytime you post asking technical questions...

Referencing part numbers is great, and the best way to ensure proper fitment, but at the end of the day, yes, those parts would work. So long as you replace with the same parts from the same year and match 41 to 41 and 49 to 49mm parts.

Yeah, I could have given that answer, too. But, you know what they say about teaching a man to fish?
