Default Disable Security for Towing

I will be doing a trip that will require me to tow my 2021 Road Glide on a trailer. Is there a way to disable the security system to allow for towing so it won't constantly go off in a state of alarm? Or do I need to disconnect the battery? I had a friend this happend to and it ran his battery down.

Or you could just leave your FOB on your bike while its inside the trailer.

Bad idea. The fob and the bike would be pinging each other the whole trip resulting in a dead battery.

Is that really different from riding it? I guess while you're riding you're charging the battery.

Once the bike is started the security is disabled, so hardly any pinging. This is what me thinks.

I believe so....

The security module pings for the FOB any time the ignition switch is turned on, or the bike senses movement...

When riding the bike, once the security module sees the FOB, and you turn the ignition on, the security is deactivated. The security module stops looking for the FOB......

If you trailer the bike, the security module will ping for the FOB, whenever the bike senses movement... that ping and FOB acknowledgement will only last for several seconds, if you don't turn on the ignition switch and deactivate the security...

So while trailering, the movement/ping cycle will repeat until you reach your destination, or the bike's battery dies... whichever comes first..
