PV prices went up recently but to me its easier to work than the tts so it'd still be worth it

Even experienced dyno operators using aftermarket tuners have trouble tuning those shorty exhausts; the Harley tuner with its limited adjustability won't be able to do the job well.

One other downside to the TTS, I believe it locks the tune to the ECM. Then you will need that TTS module for any future tune changes...

That is unacceptable to me...

Then you need to do it all at one time. And really investigate what you need to make that stubby pipe work. Like was said. People are having a tough time tuning them. Guy by me has the same bike. Same cam as mine. RS 468 and a 114 RGS he has that stubby pipe. I have the S&S Sidewinder 2-1. He’s only got 105 HP and 115 TQ. That’s way off the standard numbers for that cam. That’s one pipe I’d choose to pass up. But. That’s me.

But it automatically stores the unlock file in the box. What most miss is that data collection, manipulation and useful tables is why it shines.

If I may ask, been awhile since I looked into the TTS...

Don't you need that specific TTS module, or another TTS module along with a TTS unlock key, if you are ever to change the tune again....?

If I sell my bike, and keep my PowerVision Tuner.... the new owner can buy any tuner he wants and tune the bike... my ECM/tune is not locked by the PowerVision tuner...

Yes you need the mte file to unlock to use another tuner. A new TTS box will read and program the ecm. I think it's low budget to keep the tuner that's married to your bike. Originally people would skip past the window that asked you to save the unlock file (black box). Blue box automatically saves it to the box and the computer that flashes it. I think it's harsh to blame the device when people don't follow directions. I tune probably 5 bikes a week and won't use anything else. I use the green TTS for data collection because it has a few more features.

My 2 cents. I sold DB the pipe ( for 1/2 of what a new one costs). It was on a 2020 RGS I bought from a friend. Bike was also tuned with an SE tuner. The bike ran and performed very well. I put a few hundred miles on it before I removed it and went with a Fuillsac / Khrome Werks system. I also purchased a new license for my PV tuner and transferred it to the RGS. The pipe was too loud for my taste and I didn't like the empty spaces left in my stretched bags.

The good: Pipe is very well made and quality is top notch. The pipe sounds really bad *** (loud) with a nice deep growl. Will increase HP and TQ somewhat.

The bad: The pipe is loud. Can be difficult to tune. The SE tuner is limited on it's tuning capabilities. Plenty of better tuners out there. Plenty of better systems out there for TQ & HP.

This is not the pipe if you are looking for maximum TQ and HP. Most guys buy this because they like the looks and the sound. It's not a pipe I would want to tour with. IMO it's more of a hot rod pipe (wheelies & burnouts) or a canyon carver. Plenty of guys running this setup around where I live. It just wasn't for me.

I would agree.... but that isn't what I am opposed to...

I don't want a tuner to lock my ECM, so I can only use that tuner going forward, whether I follow directions or not... That's all... My powervision doesn't lock the ecm/tune in any way...

I'm sure it's just one of my OCD things......
