I have a 2021 FLHRXS. Today I swapped handlebars I was careful to turn the ignition on then remove the master fuse. I marked the three wiring bundles from the handlebars before disconnecting them from behind the headlight. Everything seemed to go fine and I reconnected everything but when I reconnected the master fuse and turned on the ignition I get the whine I expected when I flip the run switch, but the start switch doesnt do anything. Also no central display. And I cant change the headlight from low to high beams. Probably other stuff is missing too. Assuming that I reconnected all the wires correctly in the nacelle, any suggestions on what could be wrong? None of the fuses are blown so I dont think its a short.
Only answer is you must have incorrectly connected some of the wiring. If it were me, I would remove the bars and start over. You're looking at about 4 hours.

thanks, but Im thinking that I might have pinched or disconnected a wire in one of the control modules. Im planning on removing them tomorrow and checking for anything disconnected or pinched.
On my RG it was impossible to connect harnesses wrong, I suspect yours would be same way ? Anyway looks like both sides have issues so Id agree with previous poster: disconnect everything, try to connect one side at a time and see if you get response from one side.

While your at it , look at all the pins in the connectors and make sure they didn't push out . The little green connector on the TGS has been an issue for nearly everyone who has done their own bars , most just solder the wires in line and ditch it .
I've done a dozen or more bars and always got rid of that connector , but it does sound like your having more issues with other connectors as well .
I'm assuming your HD has the Deutsch connectors as all of the older models. If so when I did my bars I had a similar problem and when I disassembled I discovered that a few Deutsch pins were not seated all the way. They looked like tey were but on closer inspection they were about 1/10 of an inch shorter than the rest of the connectors. It's an easy check anyway something to rule out
Most likely you pinched one or more wires, in the switch housing. That's where I would look first. Rats nest of wires in a little box, so you wouldn't be the first one that's damaged wires there. Have to be really careful. Check that then go from there.

That is exactly what happened. I pinched one on each side. Instead of trying to repair them I opted to buy a new set of wires. One less thing to worry about. Installing them tomorrow. Thanks for all the comments and advice!
