Question speedometer color

I just got an 2008 Road King Screaming Eagle CVO (FLHRSE4) and the LED color on the speedometer is currently red. Red doesn't provide enough contrast at night for my old eyes so anyone know how I can change the color? I can't find any reference to it in the manual.

I think you have to open it up and change the LEDs or buy a new speedo that can change colors.

Many of those Speedo/tach have color options. It won't be in the manual but in the installation instructions. If you don't have a copy go to h-d.com, search under year and model, find your item look under details. You can print out a copy of the instructions from there.

Apparently I'm not in the right place. I go there and I can search for parts but there aren't any speedomers/odometers listed. I somehow ended up on serviceinfo.harley-davidson.com where I found the owners manual but no installation manuals.

Unfortunately those instructions didn't work. I only have clock settings doing that.

Anyway, I ordered a new digital speedometer so it won't be an issue for much longer.
