I just ordered the SE Pro Heavy Breather kit for the Street Glide to replace my current SE high flow filter. I wanted something that looked different and this accomplished everything I wanted.
My question to those who have the SE Pro is will I have to adjust the PCIII? I assume yes since the SE Pro will flow more air. How much of an adjustment did you make? I am running Rinehart True Duals...
The second question I have is does Harley include a rain sock for the filter? If not, where can I buy one?
RE: Screaming Eagle Pro Heavy Breather Air Filter Kit
I dont think any adjustment will be needed being you already had a SE air cleaner. I doubt it flows much more than a regular SE its mostly just for looks. Rain sock is sold by hd in catalog.

I ordered one also. They will not be available until Sept. There are a few out on the Springer CVO models but thats it.
So right now knowone knows. A rain sock is in the 08 cataloge.

I had mine put on at the same time they did Stage 1 and Dyno so I'm not sure. Mine did come with a sock, but the mechanic told me it restricts the air too much, so I shouldn't use it.

Which part number did you order? Reason I ask...is the SE Racing Catalog (not street approved- yeah, who cares) lists the Heavy Breather (p/n 29592-05) for the 99' later touring bikes twin cams. The regular HD catalog for '08 has the Heavy Breather listed as for only the 2008 bikes and is part number 29253-08. Not sure what the differences are, but the '08 model has the rain sock included and costs $20 more.
If you ordered the '08 version I might be able to understand the late release date, but not for the race catalog version (WHICH LOOKS THE SAME TO ME).

U should be good 2 go since u already run a SE hi-flow kit. Yes...all the Heavy Breathers come with a black rain sock.
P.S. ur gonna luv that filter
Mine didn't come with a rain sock. K&N sells a rain sock as does outwears.com for that size filter. Agree you should not have to re-map for this set-up if you were already tuned for the standard SE A/C or something similar.
