Arrow Road Glide Ultra Speakers

I have a 2011 Road Glide Ultra with front and rear speakers. I can't get the front speakers to work off the speaker switch. The rear speakers (tour pak speakers) work on both switch settings. I have replaced the speaker switch thinking it was the cause. The new switch is working the same as the old. Before I take the fairing off to look things over, has anyone had the same experience??? Any suggestions before I get the local dealer involved?

Thanks for responding. The fade controls both speakers. There isn't a fade for the back or the front, the fade is for both.

I did, but there is still a problem. The rear speakers should be off when the speaker switch is only in its 2nd position, i.e. front speakers only. For some reason the rear speakers are on all the time unless the switch is in the off position. When in the off position both the front and back speakers are off.

hm, thats not how it works…

the fader should go from 100% front 0% rear to 0% front 100% rear. 50/50% in the middle of the slider.

and the switch does not control front/rear (the fader does). the switch goes like this :

all front - music and intercom/CB from headset only
middle - music from speaker and intercom/CB from headset
back - music and intercom/CB from speakers.

hope this helps.

Your question is answered but your system is a bit long in the tooth if you’re willing to make an investment in the sound system. Not cheap but well worth the coin and time.
