Default DCL Plug

I installed a Oil cooler fan, and I need the system flashed to turn on and recognize the fan. The closest HD dealer is 75 miles away, but I have a couple closer, and good HD mechanics closer by with Snap-On Diagnostic tools and so I took the bike to one.. He said he Flash it with the Snap-on programmer for $20 if he could, but we found what looks like the might be the port on the bike, but it didnt fit the description with in his 2019-up manual.. He had just recently used his Snap-on to flash a 2022 Trike, and so he was baffled that this plug on my bike wasn't Grey, and was Female (his 2019- Up manual said it was to be Grey, and his Snap-on Programmer plug is Female) The plugs were of the same pins and shape except my plug color is RED, and we had to Females to join together (my DLC plug to his Snap-on Programmer) attached are images from my 2021 service manual (which I didn't take/have with me at the time) , and the picture looks like a Male/Pin plug or type of plug, .. anyone know what might be going on here?

"21 and newer use the RED 6 pin DLC as it is a ISO requirement, much like the car world that uses a SAE requirement. All mopeds, trikes, motor bikes are required to use this new connection regardless of maker to sell new bikes and such. You guy needs to buy new cable and get his Snapon updated for the newer models to be able to work with the new setup.
