I know this has been mentioned before, but I could not find a good part number. I want to find a waterproof plug to install the radio shack version. I know others have just plugged it back into the dummy plug on the bike. I really want to find a mating plug. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

If you have a service manual all the plugs should be listed there.

 

Service manual does not list a compatible plug, I looked. Got some connectors at RC called d-Sub connector, crimped them on, connected IAW another posters instructions, and sealed it with latex caulk. I used the black caulk and it blends in nicely.

I guess another option would be to cut the existing HD plug off and get a new male and female plug. I chose the other method.

 

I just tin the radio shack's wires with solder- and push them into the connector.
