Had some fun in the garage today!! All my parts finally showed up. Installed Fat Baggers 12" 1 1/2" pointed top bars, some HD passing lamps and a Roger's Unlimited garage door opener. Install for everything was pretty strait forward. My only issue was the wiring for the passing lamps. My CVO has LED blinkers and the HD passing lamp kit comes with turn indicators that use regular light bulbs. I was able to de-pin the OEM wiring, but they were too short and had to splice the wires to make them a bit longer. There was plenty of room for the wires in the pass lamp brackets too. The bars came with longer wires, a clutch cable extension and the stock brake line was plenty long enough for 12" bars. Hoping to take it out tomorrow and see how the the new bars feel. HD passing lamp kit Getting set up for the madness LED turn indicator on the left Took a while to figure out the de-pinning Spliced the wire with solder and heat shrink There's a lot of stuff under that fairing Trying to stay organized All buttoned up. Oh yeah!! Still need to do a final adjustment to the lights Garage door button. Replaces the 12V socket. Red LED with power on
A long long time ago, I was an aircraft electrician repairing and modifying the wiring on supersonic jet fighters.. Today I can't even imagine taking on a project like that.. Gotten lazy in my old age... Good job!!
Wish you would work like the rest of us. Fancy tables, with table cloths all laid out, tools neatly stacked and organized. Everything ready to go. What a sham!!!! Don't try to fool us!!! I'd like to see the tool layout when your done! Bet it's just like us...scattered and on the floor!!!
Kidding.... good job. I never get as organized like you, but I do have some bench space I put my tools on! And the connectors are a favorite of mine too. Also check out the posi-grip connectors.... got some with a light project from Custom Dynamics. Those are great for tapping into circuits as well.
Again, Good job!!

I used to keep all my routinely used hd tools by themselves. I got a bigger tool box and put everything up and can't find **** anymore lol
