Very cool. Just picked up my Glide Classic 2 weeks ago ! You'll really like it ! I bounced for 50,000 miles on my softail and this thing is a whole new world !
Put 460 miles on this last weekend for a total of 650 miles. Bike has performed flawlessly thus far with the exception of a slight problem with the rubber trim at the base of the windshield. Trim keeps coming "untucked" from under ws in a couple of spots. Don't want to go removing ws yet as the service manual is on order. Also, it looks as if I'll have to change the bars eventually as I'm getting pretty sore in my upper back/neck area. And the bike is difficult for me to move around even with the SoLow 1 1/4" lowering kit on the rear, so the front will need to be lowered 1 1/4" also. It's really more of a girth thing, it's much wider than my softail, but I don't want to change the stock seat, I like it.
Other than that, I am thoroughly enjoying my first bagger. It's amazing how the fixed fairing slices through the air with ease and at 70+ mph it is very stable. The s.o. is longing for a backrest which is on order along with a few other goodie's.
