Default Which ape bars?

Hello I know I’m probably posting a never ending question.. and farely new member not on here a lot.. but with my Harley 2008 ultra touring I’m getting 14” apes and was hoping to get some insite on brands of bars.. putting heated grips on and have the ones from Harley already.. I want something stable and not too flexible, good brand of bars.. I’m attracted to the meat hook style and is there a “stay away from bars” that people know of.. or is most pretty good? is dominator an ok brand?.. they are always coming up as first choice.. and farely reasonable but wondering the quality.. any suggestions or experience people have had would be great! TIA

Have a look at my post on the reviews section (Under this n that) on my new 16" Burleigh bagger bars and how much I love them. Don't have experience of any other bars except 12" Harley Mini-apes which I found too small. When I replaced them with the 16" Burleigh bagger bars I was very happy - read the review for the details. My bike is a 2014 FLHTK and they fit great.

Another vote for KST. I researched a number of brands and ultimately, KST had the style I was looking for and at a reasonable price. Other factors were that their site is very clear about which bars fit which bike and what, if any modifications are needed such as wire extensions or extended clutch & brake lines. Also, since I was looking for a chrome finish, I liked that their chrome bars are actually polished SS (T304) rather than chromed mild steel.
