Default Problem

Ok guys my problem is as follows. I posted awhile ago about this but feel the need to post again. 2006 Road King
And this may not have anything to do with my issue and it may be just coincidental but feel the need to explain.
I took my bike in to have the rocker box gaskets changed prior to that my bike ran fine no issues.
When I picked up my bike I noticed my shifter lever was lower and could just fit my foot under it. ( I know nothing to do with the rocker box gaskets change) the dealer said they didn't touch the shifter lever.
Rode the bike home and noticed that at the higher end of each gear before shifting into the next gear I get a high vibration it's hard to explain but I never had that before. When I'm cruising at 60 mph it smooth but when
I throttle up to 65 I get the vibration . Had the motor mount checked the dealer said it was ok looked like it was the newer one. Than I had a problem with my speedo and blinkers not canceling so I change the speed sensor VSS all work great after. Was out on it yesterday and same thing the speedo stops working and my blinkers won't cancel. Shut the bike down and restarted all worked again. So I'm not sure if it all ties together or separate problems .
This is just driving me crazy especially the vibration situation , do you think maybe the motor mount needs to be changed even though the dealer said it looked ok ?

Not trying to be smart...Did you happen to get new boots?

Have you checked tire pressure? Used to work at an Indy shop; we used to take bets on tire pressure based on how they rolled in.... Early spring most were at 15-20lbs

Starting at your battery. Breakdown and clean all the grounding points. Scotchbrite or a USMC toothbrush is your friend.

So I'm not sure if it all ties together or separate problems .

Find yourself a new stretch of highway. Make sure pressures are correct and hop on for a cruise, Don't hunt for the vibe... just relax and roll. If its really therr you'll know.

This right here and maybe they were stomping on the shifter and now they are getting stripped.
The gas tank would have to come off during that work and maybe they didn't connect the wires good.

👆🏼 Someone rode the crap out of it and stomped that shifter - you most likely now have a stripped shifter spline. Tank removal may have caused pinched wires as well so, start digging there. First thing though, be sure to inspect your battery and connections.

euchre98 - no new boots same ones, tire pressure is good, will check the battery to make sure.
okieBill - took the shift lever off to re-adjust and it looked good and not stripped ! I was thinking the same thing that whoever worked on it stomped on the shift lever but the splines where good no sign of any stripping.

They most likely disconnected the motor mounts to allow the engine to sag down to give clearance for gasket replacement.
And now they are not set up correctly and or possibly loose.
