Default Ultra Classic Fork Locked
Strange situation. I locked the fork on my 2006 Ultra Classic with 2400 miles, and when I unlocked the mechanism the fork remains locked. Otherwise, bike is fine. Of course, it's Sunday morning. Any suggestions short of calling a Harley technician on the next business day?

I have a 2006 EG Classic and have had no problems. I'll be watching for info on this one just in case!!!

it has happened to several people on the 05 and 06 sorry dont know what they did to remidy the problem

I've heard that this is common and is a design flaw...let us know what you find out.

That happen to a friend of mine he got he's fixed I'll try to get of hold of him to see how they fixed this problem.

Don't know of a recall yet. I haven't had any trouble with my '06 but I have read about it several times on the forum and asked a service writer at my dealer last week if there is an issue. She said "yes, with some bikes". I hope Harley steps up to the plate with this if it is a serious problem.

Would be nice if Harley would be a bit more open about this kind of problem. I luckily had my Ultra in the garage when this situation occurred. Could have occurred in TimBuckToo around sunset.

Fork is still locked. I'll check with a tech at the Harley dealership tomorrow morning.
