I only want one to use once in great while. After my research Rokform was my conclusion.
Im the same way. I enjoy being away from my phones (both of em) but once in a great while I really need a GPS on a long ride. I bought a handlebar mount from Walmart once, it worked well enough but is cumbersome. Ill have to check the Rokforms out.
Many are bar mounts and some give you a choice to mount by the controls or mirror, so depends on where you want the phone. I have the Techmount for my dedicated GPS. I like that it has most of the info I look at like speed, time, gas and ATM, etc. I just run a USB power port from the ACC connector to the bars for charging.
I'll summarize since there are many other threads on this. If you don't mind a special case, Rokform and Quadlock seem to get the most love here. If you don't want a special case, then RAM and Tackform seem to get the most mentions. There are a few others that get sprinkled in but I see those 4 the most.
