Saturday I went to the local dealer and looked at bikes. I was on a Street Bob, nice bike but I missed my bigger gas tank, cruise control and stereo. Salesman asked what I was looking for and price/payment range. I told him “something with more than 3 gallons of gas” along with $. He showed me a few used baggers but suggested a heritage. I like the heritage but didn’t like the numbers they came back with. I did my homework before going. I knew the trade value, ran the payment calculator (understating trade value) and had my heart set on a Road Glide. I told the salesman and sales manager I wasn’t getting the heritage and that I did my homework based on the road glide, she said “give me five minutes”. Three minutes later she came back with “do you like black? We have one ordered that will be here this coming week.” I am good with black. This week waiting without a bike, I left the Street Bob there, was rough. First time without a bike in 17 years and the weather was great.
this morning they called and said it was here. With what was going on today for me, I would have to agonize one more day. Well things changed, I made it to the dealer today and brought home my 2022 Road Glide.
