Another alternative to the wrap-around backrest is this from C&C Seats. Although the wrap-around offers arm rests that your better half might like better.
so a pre-Rushmore King TP backrest will fit on a chopped? Another person I talked to said they didn't think they would.
you would have to drill new mounting holes. the holes for the chopped would be covered by the wrap around. but, you still want to put a nylon plug in the hole to prevent water intrusion.
i'm pretty sure that they did not offer a king tourpak painted in the cvo colors in 2012.

I assumed I would have to drill more holes, I'm not worried about that. My biggest concern is that it was going to look super half-assed.

A quick Google search will show you a few.
The wrap around backrest will work fine.
Since the lower part of the chopped tour-pak is shorter than the king tour-pak, the speaker pods won't fit the chopped tour-pak
Mine is a chopped by BadDad, called the performance series. It came with a pad like that one, and my wife wasnt happy with it either. I found a wrap around backrest, on E-Bay, that fits both chopped and king. It was less than $80, but, youd never know it. The quality is really good! Much better, in fact, than I expected.
I realize that yours is a 2011 and mine is a 2015, but, thought this info. may still help you.

we've always had chopped packs. but this time, we decided to get a king for the wife's bike. this way, it'll fit 2 full face helmets. but because we ride solo, she didn't want the wraparound backrest on it. didn't much care for the hd chopped backrest, so we went with a custom c&c banana pad that matched her c&c seat. the pad is more comfortable than the hd one (being wider and flatter) without being as big as the wraparound.

that's another option for her.
Glad I saw the photos of yours. It shows the outside holes in the tour pack for the stock mounts. That's my situation.
I have C&C sending me samples for my back rest for my 2019 King tour pack. I had considered building my own as theirs doesn't cover the outside mounting holes. We'll see.
