Just picked up a real cheap set of 12” hand adjustables to try and they look correct and in good shape, but I have a question for those who have known good sets.
Does the throttle side shock provide any damping or is it spring only? It looks like it should have damping like a shock, but mine is spring only. Doesn't appear to have leaked out, just want to confirm.
I can put my fairly ample body weight into the shock and bottom it out.
I'm gonna ride to work solo on them a couple times to test them out, there's a couple dips where I can normally bottom the air shocks out so I'm curious how these do cranked all the way in. I've been looking for 13" ones, but this set of 12" popped up local for $75 so I'll try them.
