Default JRI A shocks question

Do they soften a bit when they break in....I find the ride a bit stiff at the moment. These aren't the B shocks with the adjustment at the bottom. They are 12" A shocks.

yes,..I found it takes about a thousand miles...I think it is just because the seals are tight on the shaft when new..once they break in you will wonder how you ever lived without them.....you might try spraying a tiny bit of crc power lube on the shaft near where it enters the body of the shock....

what spring do you have in them? 23, 25 or 27?

No idea...Howard made them for me...I'm 175lbs if that helps
