Hi my name is Joe I'm new to the form I have a 2014 Harley Davidson Road King flhr all the lighting works the only thing that doesn't work is the two rear running lights the hazards work everything else works except the left turn indicator on the gas tank the LED that and the two rear running lights do not work can someone help me
In stock form, the rears are are turn signal only. As for the dash light remove the seat and the tank console. My '95 has replaceable lamps, not sure about your '14. A Factory Service Manual is a must if you're going to do your own work.
On a stock Road King, only the center tail light is on as a running light. The two smaller lights are amber and turn signal only. Like many others, I have modified mine to be running lights as well. Legally (in the US at least) if they are running lights they need to be red, not amber. If the lenses are amber then they are turn only. Mine are Custom Dynamics, red with smoke lenses.
The indicator lights on the dash are one unit on the 2014 and newer bikes. One of my signal indicators went out and was replaced under warranty, but it is an easy swap to do it yourself.
