After getting my Sporty stolen this last December I couldn't wait to deploy to get another bike. Ended up with a 2007 Road King Custom. I hate to put another exhaust post up but I need some advice. I'm looking at few different slip ons. Rush 2.5 inch baffles, V&H fishtail slip ons, and Freedom Performance Shark Tail slip ons. I'm still young and dumb so I like my exhaust loud. I'm really interested in the Freedom Performance exhaust. Has anyone seen or heard these? I've been trying to look on you tube and **** to hear some different slip ons. Any other place I can listen. I've tried the rush website but it won't work,it won'tload. Any advice would help. I would like to get these put on while I'm over here so when I get home for R&R I can enjoy the bike to its fullest. Thanks for all your help
No man I can't, sorry about the sporty and thanks for serving . I can bump it your thread back to the top, I am sure that after everyone gets up and gets a cup of joe they will be all over it. Good luck and keep your head down and your powder dry.[sm=americanasmiley.gif]
I have an 07 RK standard with RUSH 2.0 baffles. After listening to everyones comments on this forum and talking to the RUSH people, I went with the 2.0's. I was told that anything larger will cause exhaust popping with a pipe change only ( no ecm adjustment or A/C change). I have 6k miles on the bike so far with onlymuffler change and I enjoy them. They are somewhat quiet compared to the screaming eagle II off my2001 sportster but they are deep. I do get some decel popping every once in a while, but I do regularly check my plugs and everything looks good.
Thank you for the advice, at least you guys that left something worth while. Thereis always your classic ******* that needs his teeth knocked down his throat. I'm not lookingfor sympathy. I could give two *****. I'm just stating the facts (my current situation). Plow 64, if you read what I wrote, I said I would like for these to be put on before I get home for R&R so I can enjoy the bike to it's fullest. I'm going to have my wife get them put on for me and being over in this **** hole I don't have the ability to listen or seedifferent exhaust.
Thanks for the help guys, Stillopenfor moreopinions.
What does pipe choice have to do with being deployed?
Because at a lot of locations, places like youtube and anything that is streaming media is blocked from being viewed of downloaded on the GOV server. Hell, I'm suprised we're even allowed access to this forum. Enjoy your unlimited access, because those who fight for it don't have the same privileges.

I agree 100%. I hope you get the pipes installed so that you are ready to ride during your R&R.

Dam right, can take a bullet but cant get 100% net access...........Arabs block a ton of sights.
I always finding ways to go around blocks and they get blocked also...............
Freedom aint free!
The miltary blocks certain sites not the Arabs. **** sites are blocked, YouTube & MySpace due to using alot of bandwidth when viewing the sites. There are reasons for blocking them but it still sucks to be on the other side of the pond dealing with the restrictions.
