Default New clutch suggestion?

I am having slipping clutch issues with my ‘14 FLHTK. It’s slips when accelerating, with revs climbing above 3500 RPM. Any suggestions on a new clutch, HD or aftermarket? My engine is making 120 ft lbs of torque from about 3000-4000 RPM. The bike has 72000 kms (about 45000 miles).

I would try adjusting it first.

14 touring would be hydraulic, no adjustments. I run the Barnet Scorpion in mine (Stage 5 14 SGS) and absolutely love it.

The fluid was changed about 500km (300 mi) ago. I refilled with HD Formula+ trans/primary fluid. That’s what is specified in the manual and it’s all I have ever put in the bike

Did it start slipping right after any modifications you made? If so, maybe a heavy spring will solve your problem.

I would try a heavier spring. Make sure it’s properly adjusted. That is easiest way to start.

Agreed on changing the spring first. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...ch-spring.html

A little more pressure will likely take care of it without having to spend big money on a whole unit. I do not know which spring your bike would've come with though.
