Hi guys I need some help. I have 2022 RKS and want to install 14 apes handlebars. Brake line is not long enough bike is at the dealership and I will need to buy upper brake line just not sure what length needed. Does anyone knows what is stock length on 2022 RKS so I can add 5 to it and get the line needed?
Since these are ape hangers I am thinking I will also get 90degree angle connection to master cylinder so line flows nicely with handlebar. Any picture of line with 90deg and apes would be awesome if someone have such set up.
I don't mean any harm...but if it is at the dealer, why can't they figure this out? Isn't that what you are paying them to do? I saw in another comment you made that the tech said it would be a "bitch" to get it done so they should have at least expected this and know how to correct it. Again don't take that the wrong way but I just find it odd that a dealer that has probably done this dozens of times can't fix this for you. Or at least give you a call and say "here's the issue, here is how we want to fix it, yes or no?"

they can by ordering whole kit that will cost 300$ with their mark up while I can get upper line for $70 I just need length of the line that will reach and I dont have bike with me so there is that part of it.
Google says the brake line (41800011) from the MC to the ABS module is 64, but that info was from eBay listings. Take it for what its worth.
I assume for full length but i just need upper portion of the line that connects to lower tree split. The whole lower section can be stock from what I understand.
The HD dealer we use to have could and did a number times tell me the measured length of a individual brake line.
That and the measured length of extended brake lines (+2+4 and so on) available from HD

Youre not changing a brake line going to the lower tree. Youre changing the brake line from the MC to the ABS module. Its #14.
well big thanks for that I wasn't aware of that appreciate that.
But you are aware it's $70 versus $300, are you rounders brother? By chance? Per first reply, the dealership parts guy, not the tech in service who already said he is clueless, should be able to give a number for the part as their cost to obtain. SMH
