Default Rush Muff. - rear bracket misalignment

Just purchased the Rush 1.75's for my 07 Street Glide. Got the right hand stocker off and the rear mtg bracket holes are misaligned on the new muffs...........looks like I will have to ream the bracket holes a little. Anyone else had this problem?? I hate nit-pickin problems......

Mine seemed to be misaligned as well but if I started barely started both bolts before tightening them they worked fine.

yup I had the same problem with my Rush's, I used my dremel tool to make the holes a little bigger. didn't take much.

Just installed a pair of RUSH's this morning and ran into the same thing. I was able to get the bolts started and threaded completely, but "toe-nailing" the holes in the mount brackets would have made the job a little less tense (I was concerned that I was going to cross thread the bolts).

I only had to open up one hole on the right side.....the left side was just fine. Went on without a hitch and they sound great!!

Thanks for the input,

Ben

I didn't have the issue on my 1.75's for my 06 SG. Everything is aligned perfectly.

It might be, but it also might be the hanger bracket rattling around in its rubber.
