That's a good case scenario all things considered. Last week, same thing happened to someone and they didn't report back. I'm am genuinely glad you could. These threads pop up and always serve as a good reminder of what we do for fun and the risks involved.

Edit: To anyone who says 10-15 isn't fast, get on a bicycle and pedal as fast as you can into a brick wall, I'll wait... Then we can talk about how fast it is.

I'm sure it'll buff out, once the damaged parts are replaced...

Glad you're okay. I spent last weekend dodging a few elderly drivers and one guy that just didn't want to me to live. Road raged me out of my lane.

It goes without saying, but I'm saying it. Glad you're around to be able to share this. Heal quick and hopefully you'll be in the saddle before the winter comes.

Dang! How fast were you going? Were you able to stay on the bike or did you perform a "quick and unexpected dismount?" Glad you're not hurt worse.

well, it seems to be a lot like having a flat fire. It's only damaged on one side right?

A broken collar bone sounds like a good trophy, thankfully you didn't receive any more than that.

blue hairs and teenage girls on cell phones, biggest threats out there next to deer. Any word yet on repairs to get back up and going again?

Be sure to use a ‘lint free chamois’ for buffing.
Glad your humor wasnt hurt & hope you (and your bike) are back on the road soon.
Looks like the engine guard kept the gremlins from chewing off too much of your bike.
I’m in the PNW also and know all too well the challenges te seniors & others put on us.
Rest up & get well.

10-15 is way better than 30-40. Glad it was only minor for you, but still unbelievable how cages are so stupid sometimes. Heal fast.

Don't forget...a couple zip ties and some duct tape adds character.
Glad you're mostly OK.
