Hydraulic clutch?
I've flushed my 2016 Ultra Classic twice now with the Twin Scan IV and it's pretty easy to do...
The Twin Scan IV also allows you to flush any CanBus bike. You would need just the one tool for your two bikes, and anyone else you may want to help out with a CanBus bike.
While the ITM Dual Mode Flush utility is cheaper, it is only for one bike... at least it was that way when I did my research several years ago.... You would need to buy the multi-bike model which is almost as expensive as the Twin Scan IV, but does nothing other than ABS cycling during a flush, or you would need to buy one for each bike.... again, almost as expensive as the Twin Scan IV.
1. Brake fluid is DOT4 on the F150 , DOT3 recommended but DOT 4 allowed on the Dodge
2. Replacement interval is never for the Ford and once every 2 years for the Dodge regardless of mileage if DOT4 is used instead of DOT3 otherwise never (disclaimer, schedule only goes out to 150,000 miles on the Ford)
3. They both have ABS.
Not drawing any conclusions from that just thought it was interesting. Again, not trying to convince anyone of anything, just gave my answer to the question. Agree that if I was still doing track days or chasing my friends on the dragon & etc I would be concerned about potential boiling.
My understanding on the ABS issue were on the up to 2011 models. That ABS unit was susceptible to corrosion and when fluid wasn't changed the plungers in the unit would lock up. I believe the replacement unit was over $1,000.00 so costly plus not safe. Not sure where I read that but my understanding.. goldie
Edit. I am in no way saying newer models don't need to flush their fluids. I have mine done every 2 years
