I've read a lot of threads over the years about recommended wheel chocks for trailers. Have never read anything about anyone's good or bad experiences with different brands of tie downs. Anyone have any experience with Rhino Tie Downs? After 14 years it's time to replace my original set.
Skip the usual cheaper 1" stuff for a traveling tie downs, use 1.5" straps for that. Many brands out including imports that will more than handle it. Also 18" soft straps for bar's and loop over points are a good addition.
Whatever you buy, steer towards straps that have the snap lock ends. If by chance they ever loosen( which if locked properly) up , they wont jump off the anchor point ,and let the bike fall over.
Oh, and if I see you driving down the road with those effing orange harbor freight straps, I will make it a point to pull up next to you and slap you !
