you have a heat deflector where I'd put it, it's where my connection pigtail comes out for my heated gear comes out as well....it's an easy to reach spot
you can put it anywhere you want though, obviously....if you plan on messing with it while riding, could you find a place for it on your handlebars somewhere?
I use a Ram mount system. I use hook & loop along with two zip ties to mount the wireless remote to the Ram mount base (RAM-B-347U).
Attach the base to the Ram mount arm (RAM-B-201U)
Attach the Ram mount arm to the motorcycle. Many different options here.
RAM Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Reservoir Ball Base (RAM-B-309-1U)
RAM Tough-Claw Small Clamp Base with Ball (AP-B-400U)
The OP specifically asked about the wireless remote. I like the wireless remote, as it makes adjusting the temperature really easy. I've found the advantages to be:
1. Conveniently and independently adjust the temperature of the jacket and gloves.
2. Having the controller mounted on the Ram mount, allows me to easily remove it when I'm not using it on a ride.
3. I have the wired controller placed in the inside pocket of the jacket. That means I only have one cable visible and attached to the motorcycle. You don't see the two cables that get attached to the jacket.
4. Cable gets attached to the panel mount on the left side wind deflector for a clean install.
