I use a first gear case for my gerbing dual controller. It has metal clip I attach to top portion of my chaps on the right leg. When I first got I was concerned about losing it. It's not a issue the clip is very strong I usually have to use a tool to open it enough. Highly recommended
This was on my 17 SGS but I have it on the same place on my 20RGL. It's heavy duty hook/loop not cheap velcro that is attached with 3m outdoor tape. This way it doesn't stay on the bike all the time, now mind you this is the remote controller not the wired. Love this setup.
