Default Different Oil levels

2022 114 m8
After oil change add 4 qts start bike to circulate. them add to half way on dipstick( 5 dot up) sidestand marker. Come back next day to double check and level is 10 dots up close to full mark (not run in 24 hrs)..
start bike run one minute wait a minute to check and it's back to 5 dots.
Is this normal? My old twin cam was alway 5 dots up after 24 hrs or months

I say it's normal, and 9 more guys will agree that it's normal.
Then 10 more guys will say it's not normal.
Then 4 guys will say that Amsoil is the best thing since sliced bread.
Then 3 guys will say that Dunlop tires are no good.
Then 8 guys will say black is the best color.
Then 26 guys will welcome you to the forum so they can pad their post count.

Ride motorcycle until engine oil reaches at least 93 °C (200 °F) or higher.
Allow engine to idle for 1-2 minutes on jiffy stand. Turn off engine.
See Figure 1. Check oil level.
Remove filler plug/dipstick.
Wipe off the dipstick.
Insert the dipstick and tighten into the fill spout.
Remove filler plug/dipstick.
See Figure 2. Check oil level. Oil level must register between the ADD QT and FULL HOT marks on the dipstick.
If oil level is at or below the ADD QT mark, add only enough oil to bring the level to the FULL HOT mark. Do not overfill.
