Pay to rob power cause it sounds good, or pay to hang metal off your bike that does nothing. If a gun was pointed at my head I would choose the true duals.

When I am up to cruising speed HP is not such a big deal.
What about those 1 cylinder engines with single exhaust?

I am not into fake stuff on my bike either, and never even heard of a football bat.

You don't have 1 cylinder you have 2.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but History may disagree that a 2-1 exhaust doesn't belong to a bagger.....

Cracks me up when they say nostalgic look of duals. 2-1 been around a long time.

Working on a bike with 2-1 is a easier too

If I didn't have stretched bags I wouldn't give it another thought.

It always make me chuckle when guys can't help themselves but to share their true inner feelings without even knowing it.

Actually... a certain muffler will weigh the same on a 500lb bike as it does on a 900lb bike....

Seriously though, another way to look at it might be that an "extra" muffler on a 900 lb bike with an OEM 103" engine, could affect performance more than that same "extra" muffler on a 500lb bike with the same OEM 103" engine...

All other things being equal, extra weight will almost always cause a negative effect on MPH, performance, and when pushing the bike around. How much of an effect it will have has many variables...

But truth be told, a ghost muffler is purely aesthetic. So someone wanting a ghost muffler most certainly could care less about the possible effects of the extra weight anyways...
