Just picked up a 2014 ultra limited that had hard connect tour pack. I want to change it to quick release. I have not been able to find a kit that gives me both the hardware for the bike and for the tour pack
harleys quick detach tour pack kit is as plug and play as you can get. it has everything you would need. you may not like everything in the kit (license plate mount comes to mind), but its the most complete kit that i know of.

I think it was determined a while back that the quick detach kit is no longer offered.

I think your right , I'm trying to pull it up using the part number from a 2018 parts and accessories catalog ( Chrome kit 53000291A / Gloss Black 53000567 ) conversion kit 2014 and later , normally it would take me right to a valid part , I'm not finding this exact kit however.
I do know Custom Dynamics makes a quick detach lighting harness I used to add a king tour pak to my SG .

I think there was a recall on the detachable TP conversion kits a while back due to some lighting issue. I don't think H-D made a permanent fix, but I could be wrong. Might be the reason they're not selling them currently.
The OP might have to "piecemeal" the parts. I think this is the recall notice.

well then, looks like the recalled kit is the one i have. i guess thats something else i get to figure out over this set of days off.
I just traded my 2014 Ultra and have a brand new one (53000291A) with all parts still in the box I would let go. I paid around $500 for the kit. Would let it go for the same plus actual shipping costs. I bought it and decided I liked the tout pak on, so it has been setting in my conditioned garage since.
