I need some help with a tour pack mount. I bought it off ebay so it came with no instructions. I have not looked at on close up. If anyone could please post pictures or instructions for install it would be alot of help. 1999 Ultra.

if it is a detachable rack, you will need the docking kit.should mount up easy with the proper docking kit. (docking kit is a b###h to put on

If you have the complete docking kit, you should be able to hold the rack itself up to the side of your bike and see where the mounting bolts should go in your rear fender supports. The narrow slotted bolts go forward and the ones with the wider nylon inserts go to the rear to accomodate the release levers.

I think I have narrowed it down to inst. for a 1999 to 2003. I think they changed after that. I got the rear brackets on(the U shaped ones). But the front brackets look like the should go right behind the shocks and the brackets I have don't fit there.
