I'm far from an HD wrench or an expert, but I believe you only use a sert with fuel injection........However I could be wrong.....If I am then I guess I learned something new today. I believe you will need to rejet the carb.

A Sert is only needed if you have Fuel Injection. With a carb you'll just re-jet and you'll be good to go.

That is correct, blackfinbob. I have a '05 rk custom, with a carb. Once you have the pipes andA/C, the only other thing you will need to have done is to have it rejetted and drilled. I put my pipes and a/c on, but have no idea of how to rejet a carb, or what the drilling out consists of. But, I spoke to a lot of people before hand, and they all recommended I have it done, so I did. Bonus is, I had an Indy shop do it for $50 bucks. Much cheaper than having to buy a sert, pc3 or any of the other fuel management systems. If we are lucky, maybe someone here can point both of us in the direction to learning how to rejet a carb. I, for one, would love to know how it is done.
