91 flhs
91 FLHS I acquired a few months ago. Any info on these Bikes is appreciated. Bad are Good. Thanks
OK, this is the 3rd post about a '91 FLHS....
The other post had two different EVO bikes pictured...
Did you buy two of them.... if not, do you own both EVOs... if so, a little late to do some research, isn't it?
I'll admit it, I'm confused...
Good luck with your bike(s)....

Your threads, posts, and multiple pics so far, are kind of confusing. If you want to just show them off, that's cool! Looks pretty clean for its age.
Has over 80,000 Miles on it. All I really know is Someone Died then it just sat for a few Years.
It looked like **** when I got it, I just cleaned it up really good and changed things to fit my Size 6'2".
I've noticed a couple of small leaks so far but seems to run better each time I ride Her.
Not used to these heavy stock Bikes I've normally had Ridgid Chopper's so this is different.
She seems to sway a little over 70 mph. I changed the front Motor Mount put new tires and it seemed to help. Doing the swing Arm Bushings next.
Was going to sell but I'm getting older and it's nice finally having a Starter and Shocks finally so planning on keeping her as My Main Ride and put My Ridgid for Show.
Amazingly it seems the old Owner kept It pretty much original and hoping he had fixed any of the Original Problems these Bikes had.
If You have any advice on these Bikes "the 91 FLHS" are these heavy Bike's I'd appreciate it.
I was a little concerned that who ever had it sitting hadn't changed little things like the Air Filter and just Routine Maintenance on it.
I've Pretty much Moved out in the Country and Bike Shops are pretty far so trying to do everything on My own to it.
Wanting to change the Final Belt drive soon but little worried about taking the whole Primary off to do it.
Can You think of anything else I should be looking at before I take this Bike on a 100 mile Ride?.
I'm gapping the Plugs at 38. The Air Shocks are Shot so put Regular progressive shocks on the back and wanting to get rid of the Air shocks in front.
Was hoping I could just put the heavy duty Progressive Springs on the Front end and just dismantle all the air ride components.
It amazes me all the primitive stupid things Harley-Davidson still does to this day that just keeps You having to Work on Them lol.
Put Straight Pipes on it as well "without Baffles" She pops a bit when Slowing Down. But other than that sounds awesome.
Sorry so long just wanting some advice on where I should be looking on this Bike for more Problems are Safety issues.
if You see My Ridgid Evo on My Pictures You'll see I've never had to deal with so many issues.
Has a lot of Miles but I think She's worth saving.
People are just raping these Bikes nowadays and just selling them in Parts on eBay so having an almost all Original in the Future My make it the New Pan are Shovelhead. Last of the Old Style and Awesome sound and Generation of these older Carburator Bike's.
Thanks for Your Help and Advice if any,
Johnny V
