Default ABS issues

Alright, I’m getting a C1042 and C1043 on my 2008 Electra glide ultra classic. I found something and was wondering if it would be the source.

Really not sure how this would’ve happened.

Fix or replace and see it that's it. Should be fixed even if it doesn't cure the code.

That is where the sensor from the front wheel plugs into the main harness under the bars.

Yeah, I’m gonna head down and see if Oreillys has a connector and redo it. Just didn’t know if that exposed wire could cause my issues.

Definitely got caught on something that's a clean cut.
looks repairable, I would be surprised if auto parts store is going to have that.

I see. The sensor and wire is about $100 if I recall, used on Ebay maybe cheaper. There was a recall on that some time ago, not sure it ties in.

Please post updates as you proceed with a fix if you would. Thanks.

Unless it got into the conductor itself and compromised it, I'd be inclined to just use some heatshrink, if possible, and call it a day.
