So many options and expensive want to try to make the right choice the first time
Buy once, cry once with JW Speaker. The cheapo amazon lights throw an uneven beam on the road with bright and dark areas. To see and be seen is a worthwhile investment.
I just had a Harley Projector LED light put in my RoadKing and I’m very pleased with it. Far better than the stock Halogen. Far better spread across the road at night.
I went with the Eagle light also, great improvement, at a good price, stock light was terrible , hated riding at night, now it's so much better, great beam
I installed the Custom Dynamics Halo headlight. Not as good as the Adaptive but not as expensive as the Adaptive. Still way better than the OEM halogen.
I wish we could get that done up here easily, but the dealers refuse as it's illegal and they don't want to be responsible for such things
Huh? Is that how it is in AB? In BC by default (and I thought it was the same across Canada) the "side running lights" (AKA Aux lights) are already programmed to be able to be on if the headlight is in high or low beam. If they aren't already (mine were) it's easy to get that changed and to the best of my knowledge there is no law against it. After all more lights means better visibility to those coming at you.
I never understood why the default setting turns the passing lamps OFF with the high beams and allows them to come ON with the low beams. That seems backwards to me.
2022 harley ultra limited. Looking for suggestions on a brighter headlight. Just not happy with the stock headlight. There is so many out there just not sure which one to try. Thanks in advance..
Interesting how I wrote this in another thread earlier: I have a couple different options you can use for your bike. Depending on what you are looking for, I can make a couple suggestions. Generation III is our brightest light and projects the light furthest down the road. If you are looking for more of a "burst" (normally what I recommend when you are dealing with dark roads with wildlife) I would stick with the Infinity Beam, Complex Reflector or Slim Line. Please keep in mind you will need a dual bulb harness for your application and everything is backed by our lifetime warranty and if you need any help or have any questions please reach out. Happy to help.
