Headlight
2. Have your dealer switch the side running lamps (using the digital technician) to always on in both low beam and high beam. When I was just running the high beam without the running lights, the close in light was not very good and the high beam was sort of washed out looking because of the distance.
3. Once I had everything adjusted and the running lamps on with both the high and the low beam the light projected is pretty good.

5. I will take some flack for this but on my 2003 Sportster, I went cheap with one of these (you will need a different size for your Ultra):
SUNPIE 5-3/4 5.75 Inch LED Headlight Motorcycle Compatible with Sportster 883 XL1200 Compatible with Dyna Low Rider Wide Glide Super Glide Compatible with Softail Springer Deuce Street 500 Street 750.
They are not for everyone but at $40 it was worth a try and I was pleasantly surprised at the light output and beam dispersion.
